Eastern Insurance Holdings, Inc. Announces Quarterly Dividend

LANCASTER, Pa., Aug. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eastern Insurance Holdings, Inc. ("EIHI") announced today that its board of directors has authorized a $0.07 per share quarterly cash dividend on its issued and outstanding shares of common stock, payable September 30, 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 16, 2010.

EIHI operates through its subsidiaries a domestic casualty insurance group specializing in workers' compensation, a third-party claims administration company and a specialty reinsurance company. EIHI has service offices in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana and Tennessee. EIHI's Web address is http://www.eihi.com/.
