SUWANEE, Ga., Sept. 7 //PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ARRIS today announced that its Touchstone Telephony Gateway TG852G has been awarded DOCSIS® 3.0 certification in CableLabs®' Wave #76.
The TG852G hardware is the newest generation ARRIS DOCSIS 3.0-certified wireless gateway with support for up to 8 bonded downstream channels and up to 4 bonded upstream channels -- which can deliver in excess of 320 Mbp/s and 120 Mbp/s, respectively. The TG852G combines 2 voice ports, a 4-port Gigabyte Router and an 802.11n wireless access point into a single device capable of supporting both home and small office applications. Using multiprocessor technology, the TG852G achieves this high bandwidth performance without affecting voice quality, a historical ARRIS product standard.
