Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. Announces Filing of a Registration Statement

HOUSTON, Sept. 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc. , a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers, filed a registration statement on From S-1 in connection with the sale of up to 8,000,000 shares of its common stock (9,200,000 shares if the underwriters exercise their over-allotment option in full) by affiliates of TPG Capital, L.P. and J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC. The Company will not receive any proceeds from the offering, and the total number of shares of common stock outstanding will not change as a result of this offering.
