Expanded eVoice Network Benefits Small Businesses / With phone numbers in 16% more cities and a six-month free trial, eVoice makes it easier for small businesses to present a big business image

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- eVoice®, a branded service of j2 Global Communications, Inc. that enables small businesses to manage phone calls professionally, has announced a 16% expansion in its U.S. coverage of local and toll-free virtual phone numbers.

(Logo: http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20100302/LA62820LOGO) (Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20100302/LA62820LOGO)

The company added toll-free and local phone numbers in key U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Miami, Denver, and Atlanta. The expansion is driven by demand for the company's 6-month free trial offer at http://www.evoice.com/.

The "big business" benefits of an eVoice virtual phone number include having calls professionally answered and routed like a costly phone system, but using existing home, office, or mobile phones. A small business can also get an eVoice number in another city (or in multiple cities) to deliver a local presence without a physical office. A guided tour video demonstrating eVoice's easy setup and wide range of features is available on YouTube.

"eVoice gives small offices, home-based businesses, and mobile professionals all of the great features of a Fortune 500 phone system, but without the expense or complexity," said Mike Pugh, vice president, marketing for j2 Global Communications, Inc. "Now with phone numbers in additional cities across the country, and teamed with a six-month free trial, eVoice is something that every small business should try."

Here's how eVoice works: After selecting a local or toll-free number from http://www.evoice.com/, users can customize where calls to that number will ring - up to five home, office, or cell phones. The calls can be set to ring all designated phones at once or one-at-a-time. This means no more missing important calls misdirected to other phones or having to give out a personal number to take a business call at home or on a mobile phone.

Incoming calls are answered by an auto attendant with a customized and professionally recorded greeting that instructs callers to "press 1 for Sales, press 2 for Customer Service," etc. Each extension can be set to ring any designated phone number. If a caller leaves a voicemail, the message is transcribed, converted to text and sent as an email for easy reviewing and forwarding.

eVoice offers a host of additional features perfect for small businesses that are on a budget but need to maintain a professional image, including: conference calling, call screening, music on hold, dial by name directory, and mobile apps for the iPhone, Android, and BlackBerry phones.

The company's exclusive VIP setup and support program provides customers who sign up for second and third tier plans with "white glove" treatment. After signing up, new customers are called directly by a U.S.-based eVoice representative and walked through each aspect of the account set-up process. An 800 number is then provided for 24/7 direct access to a U.S.-based eVoice customer service representative.

eVoice is a brand service and trademark of j2 Global Communications, Inc., and is online at http://www.evoice.com/.

Vorsicht, geheim!
