Spanish Broadcasting System Inc. Announces the Appointment of Joe Cunningham as Vice President of SBS Radio National Sales

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., ("SBS") announces the appointment of Joe Cunningham as Vice President of SBS Radio National Sales. Mr. Cunningham will focus his efforts on driving National revenue growth for the company and, in addition, will continue to serve as VP/General Manager of SBS's KRZZ-FM ("La Raza 93.3") in San Francisco.

"Joe is a proven radio industry leader that has done an exceptional job in our San Francisco market. He is ideally suited to lead SBS's National radio revenue efforts as we continue executing our strategic plan and best position our radio division for future growth," stated Marko Radlovic, SBS Chief Revenue Officer (Radio Division).

Joe Cunningham began his radio career in the Bay Area as an Account Executive and Sales Manager for Anaheim Broadcasting in 1987. He then moved up quickly through a variety of Management positions within Crescent Communications, Evergreen and AMFM, Inc. Cunningham was the Vice President/General Manager and Market Manager for Clear Channel's then market- leading eleven stations in San Francisco and San Jose when he left in 2005 to pursue a role as a Partner in the Gallup Organization's Management Consulting division. Joe joined Spanish Broadcasting System in San Francisco in 2007 as the Vice President & General Manager of KRZZ-FM.
