Sun National Bank Receives Community Service Award from New Jersey Bankers' Association

COLTS NECK, N.J., Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Sun National Bank ("Sun") has been awarded the New Jersey Bankers' Association ("NJ Bankers") Community Service Award, in recognition of the Bank's role in facilitating civic and charitable activities benefiting New Jersey communities. NJ Bankers' Community Service Award is part of a statewide program that celebrates community work of member banks.

Sun has contributed to more than 400 organizations statewide. The Bank's efforts have provided needed support to a multitude of charitable needs such as arts and culture, community and economic development, environmental awareness, education and professional development organizations. Specific recipients of Sun's efforts include the NJ Department of Community Affairs' Neighborhood Revitalization Tax Credit Program, Minding our Business Youth Mentoring Program, Trenton Public Education Foundation, United Way and American Heart Association.
