ATLANTA, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. , today proudly flew the Georgia State University (GSU) football team to Raleigh-Durham, N.C., to take on the Campbell University Fighting Camels on Saturday. This flight marked another milestone for the fledging, first-year football program --- first charter flight to an away game.

The team was met at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport by smiling AirTran Airways Crew Members waving GSU pendants and welcoming them aboard a new chapter of the young program's history.
