"Comerica is a charter member of ITAC, which has helped more than 75,000 consumers recover from identity theft, and a consistent supporter of consumer protection," said Bartlett. "Once again they are showing leadership by offering consumers ITAC Sentinel®, an excellent identity theft prevention service that supports ITAC's nonprofit mission."

"ITAC continually looks for ways to keep consumers from becoming victims of identity theft. Our experience has shown it's much easier to protect yourself from identity theft than to undo the damage that generally occurs," said ITAC President Anne Wallace. "We thank Comerica for their ongoing efforts to protect consumers through education, products and services."

"Building enduring customer relationships is a hallmark of Comerica," said Babb. "We have an opportunity to further cement those relationships when we help customers protect themselves from identity theft and readily assist those who have already been impacted."

"ITAC has helped tens of thousands of consumers recover from identity theft," explained Susan Joseph of Comerica's Financial Intelligence Department and an ITAC board member. "We are proud to work with ITAC and law enforcement to prosecute identity crime."

ITAC Sentinel is offered in partnership with Intersections Inc., a leading provider of consumer and corporate identity risk management services.
