ST. LOUIS, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Solutia Inc. announced today that five of its North American labor unions, representing approximately 425 employees at four manufacturing locations, have ratified agreements covering items such as health and welfare benefits. The previous contract was scheduled to expire December 31, 2010. Under the new agreements, these benefits will be negotiated as part of each union's local collective bargaining agreement. None of those agreements carry a common expiration date.
