Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd.: Multiple High Grade Zones Drilled in Main Zone, and Strike Length of VMS System Tripled at BA

STEWART, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/30/10 -- Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: MTB) announces that Great Bear Resources Ltd. ("Great Bear") (CNSX: GBR) has released further exploration results from the BA project in the Eskay Creek mining district near Stewart, northern British Columbia. Drilling across the Main zone has discovered multiple zones of high grade silver-lead-zinc mineralization.

Ongoing drilling has completed a total of sixty nine drill holes at BA. Results from sixteen of these holes drilled in and around the Main zone are included in this release. Eleven of sixteen holes successfully intersected silver mineralization with an average drill intersected width of 6.9 metres and a weighted average grade of 104 g/t silver. Seven of these holes intersected higher grade mineralization with an average drill indicated width of 5.2 metres and weighted average grade of 153 g/t silver. Highlights are summarized in the table below.

Eight of the sixteen drill holes reported above contain more than one higher grade interval within a broad VMS mineralized system. Complete drill results and a drill hole location map will be posted to the Company's web site. The drill holes reported above test the northern 200 metres of the 600 metre historically drilled strike length of the Main zone.

Twenty nine drill holes have been completed to date across the North Extension. Results of this drilling will be released upon receipt of complete assays.

The Bod Zone - VMS Mineralization Extended

A new zone of silver-copper-zinc mineralization (the "Bod" zone) has been discovered in the North Extension, 1.3 kilometres north of the Main zone. Highlights of trench results are provided in the table below.

The new discovery of this silver-copper-zinc mineralization zone extends the strike length of known VMS mineralization at BA from 600 metres to in excess of 2 kilometres. The main mineralized corridor, occurs along a southwest to northeast trend. Continuity and width of this corridor are currently being drill tested.

The BA Project

As previously announced, Great Bear has entered into an Option and Joint Venture Agreement with Mountain Boy Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: MTB) to earn a 50% interest in the BA project by spending $5.5 M over four years, and can earn an additional 20% interest, for a total of 70%, by completing a Bankable Feasibility Study on or before December 31, 2015.

The BA Project hosts a silver rich volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) system that has been drill confirmed for 600 meters of mineralized strike and down dip for 300 meters. The discovery is open for expansion in all directions. 62 of 90 historic drill holes into the Main zone at BA have returned in excess of 2 oz silver over drill indicated widths of 3 to 134 metres with significant associated lead - zinc mineralization.
