Shark® Navigator® Wins First Ever People's Choice Award for Long Form Infomercial
Euro-Pro, a Boston-based developer and marketer of innovative, quality consumer products for the home and creator of the familiar Shark brand, has received a top award recognizing the company's innovation and creativity in the direct-to-consumer marketing arena.
Capping off a busy week at the annual Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) D2C Convention , the leading trade association for direct-to-consumer commerce, rolled out the red carpet last Thursday, September 23rd to celebrate the industry's creativity and success, announcing the winners of the 2010 ERA Moxie Awards at a gala held at the Wynn Las Vegas. The ERA Moxie Awards honor the year's best direct response television, radio, online and mobile campaigns.
At the awards banquet, Euro-Pro's long form infomercial for the Shark Navigator vacuum won the People's Choice Award. The half-hour advertising program for the Navigator vacuum features Euro-Pro CEO Mark Rosen showcasing the lightweight, easy to maneuver upright vacuum that never loses suction. This year, the ERA debuted the People's Choice Award, a new honor for the best long form and short form infomercials of the year as voted on by members of the direct response marketing industry via the ERA website in the weeks leading up to the event. In addition to the win in the People's Choice category, Euro-Pro was also a finalist for Best Long Form Infomercial – Housewares as well as for Best Use of Online Video, both also for the Shark Navigator.
