In the month of September TGEG finally had the Material recycling facility released from the ports of manila this MRF system is state of the art equipment and works with the entire biosphere system. This MRF system will recycle more than 750 tons of MSW per day. The entire system is now inside the TGEG/SBSC power plant compound and will be assembled in Mid October 2010.
The project is a partnership between the city of San Fernando and Spectrum Blue Steel Corporation. SBSC is the license holder for the deployment of the Biosphere MKV5 system, while TGEG is the owner of SBSC. The Biosphere system is integrated with three steam turbines and 3 boiler systems each producing 2.5 mega watts per hour on each steam turbine.
This power plant is a 3000 square meter facility located at the mega dike in San Fernando adjacent to the landfill site. The green energy recycling center and power plant will be delivering power to the city of San Fernando Pampanga by 2011.
TGEG has been diligent in negotiating contracts to own and control landfill sites and dump site zones in the Philippines as well as Brazil and many other countries.
