Shift Recycling is pleased to announce their newest program motivating the public to recycle electronics and help the environment. Beginning Monday October 18, 2010, Shift Recycling will pay CASH for old, unwanted and broken electronics.
The purpose of this program is to divert hundreds of thousands of pounds of electronics that would otherwise end up in landfill, and ensure that they are recycled responsibly. By offering a financial reward for bringing in unwanted electronics, it's a win-win for the environment and for the consumer. Businesses, who do not wish to drop-off their old electronics, can sign-up for a convenient pick-up online at www.shiftrecycling.com.
Electronics pose a huge risk to the environment and people's health when not disposed of responsibly. If gadgets end up in landfills, toxic metals such as mercury and lead can seep into groundwater and poison our ecosystem.
It's time to make the Shift and bring unwanted electronics to Shift Recycling.
Shift Recycling will pay cash for televisions, computers, cell phones, cameras, printers... and more. A full list of accepted items can be found at www.shiftrecycling.com.
Drop off location: 145 Fenmar Drive, Toronto. Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00 Saturday 9:00 - 2:00
