Delegates to Bermuda's Progressive Labour Party Conference held in Hamilton on Thursday, have elected the Hon. Paula A. Cox JP, MP as the new leader of the party and by ascent and in accordance with the Bermuda Constitution Order, Premier Designate of Bermuda.
Mrs. Cox who won in a resounding victory received 124 of the 168 votes cast.
In a swearing in ceremony held at Government House Hamilton yesterday 29 October 2010, Mrs. Cox was officially sworn in as the Premier of Bermuda.
