Rosh Ha'ayin, November 02, 2010 Wizcom Technologies Ltd. ("Wizcom") (Prime Standard: WZM, IL 0010830706) announces today that the Company has joined the UN Global Compact programme and has become an authorized UN supplier.
Launched in July 2000, the UN Global Compact is both a policy platform and a practical framework for companies that are committed to sustainability and responsible business practices. As a leadership initiative endorsed by chief executives, it seeks to align business operations and strategies everywhere with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.
At a ceremony at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel-Aviv on October 31st, Wizcom CEO Shimon Amouyal received an award signifying the Company's membership of the Global Compact programme.
