Congree will introduce single user and enterprise software in product lab presentation
Congree Language Technologies, a joint venture of Across Systems and IAI (Institute of the Society for the Promotion of Applied Information Sciences at University of Saarland) will introduce its first jointly produced product, Congree Personal Edition, as well as enterprise-level software, in an exhibit at the Gilbane Conference Boston, Nov. 30 – Dec. 2, 2010 at the Westin Copley Plaza. Congree executives will also kick-off Gilbane's product lab track in the first speaker slot on December 1 from 12 noon to 1 pm. The hour long product session will allow Congree to show attendees how linguistic authoring assistance software can make the jobs of technical, legal and other content writers more efficient, and how controlled language documents lower development costs and increase the ease and efficiency of translation into multiple languages.
The Gilbane Conference focuses on the primary issues affecting enterprises in the use of content technologies and the application of best practices. Congree, an emerging supplier of technology solutions for linguistic authoring assistance, delivers a content strategy that helps companies to produce consistent terminology and document texts that adhere to defined corporate styles as well as approved grammar.
Mary Laplante, vice president and lead analyst at Gilbane Group, Inc, a Division of Outsell, Inc., indicates that a successful customer experience begins when content is developed. "At the Gilbane Conference we present the leading adopters with the latest content technologies to solve high impact business problems," said Laplante. "Authoring assistance software sits at the starting point of the customer experience; new technologies like those from Congree present ways in which the process can be more effective and produce higher quality content from the very beginning."
According to Congree, its linguistic authoring software puts comprehensive linguistics at the writer's fingertips, including defined style rules and corporate wording. Professional authors who use the software, especially those developing structured texts such as user manuals or legal documents requiring consistency, will be able to create high-quality, rule-compliant texts in their preferred applications. Congree technology can be used with most common source text editors, either real-time during text processing or as a batch process for the subsequent quality-checking of completed content. Congree's products will make the writer's job easier, more efficient and will improve quality for both monolingual and multilingual documents.
