Golden Predator Corp. Intercepts 21.95 m of 1.00 g/t Gold from Hawthorne Ridge Zone at the Gold Dome Project, Yukon

VANCOUVER, Nov. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden Predator Corp. (TSX:GPD) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the final results from its 2010 drilling program at its Gold Dome, Cynthia and Antimony Projects in Yukon, Canada. Of primary importance are the results from Gold Dome where core hole GDDH-10-020 encountered 9.75 m of 1.68 g/t Au from 83.05 m and 13.3 m of 1.29 g/t Au from 179.5 m in the Tom Zone. In addition, core hole GDDH-10-022 in the Hawthorne Ridge Zone intercepted 21.95 m of 1.00 g/t Au from 212.92 m. These results extend the known mineralization at both Zones, which remain open.

Gold Dome

The Company concentrated its 2010 efforts on six areas; the Tom, Hawthorne Ridge, Harvey Ridge, Aorta and Toby Zone, as well as the newly identified Swede Zone, with significant gold mineralization encountered from five of six target areas. As a result of the 2010 results, the Company has determined that it will solicit joint venture participation by senior mineral exploration companies to advance Gold Dome. This decision reflects the large mineralized system present, the numerous drill targets within known zones as well as the vast untested exploration potential and the attendant large capital budget required to properly and aggressively explore and develop the property. The Company will focus its 2011 exploration programs on the Grew Creek, Clear Creek, and Brewery Creek projects where it anticipates releasing 43-101 compliant resource estimates for each project during 2011.

The Gold Dome property hosts one of the largest gold-arsenic-bismuth soil anomalies in Yukon, encompassing approximately 30 km(2). The Gold Dome project comprises approximately 815 contiguous claims covering approximately 170 km(2), located 25 km northwest of Mayo, Yukon.

During 2010 the Company completed a total of 14 core holes for 3,854 m and 28 RC holes for 4,606 m on targets at Gold Dome. Results presented below are for all 14 core holes drilled in the Tom, Hawthorne Ridge, Harvey Ridge and Aorta Zones and the final 11 RC holes drilled in the Hawthorne Ridge, Harvey Ridge and Aorta Zones. Drill results for the first 17 RC drill holes were released in the Company's October 12, 2010 News Release. The 2010 exploration program was designed to more fully evaluate the projects numerous targets through wide-spaced drilling. Selected assay highlights are shown in the table below.

The Company will now develop a future plan for additional drilling at the Gold Dome project for consideration by potential joint venture partners.

Cynthia

The initial drill program at the Company's Cynthia Project intercepted mineralization in 3 of the 7 holes drilled. Holes DD-CY10-001 through DD-CY10-003 were directed towards the first priority target which is a prominent NW trending shear zone with a quartz porphyry dike localized along its hanging wall. The remaining holes targeted a possible extension of the shear zone as well as an area of intense silicification. All holes intersected strong alteration. Textural evidence and trace element analysis along with further mapping and sampling will provide the basis for the next round of drilling. Diamond drill holes 1 and 2 intersected 1.5m of 1.31 and 1.37 g/t Au from 130 m and 120.5 m respectively. Diamond hole 3 returned 14 m of 0.70 g/t Au from 164 m including 3.5 m of 1.32 g/t Au from 168.5 m. Interval reporting criteria are the same for Cynthia as those appearing below the table above for Gold Dome.

Antimony

Following up on a successful 2009 drill program which established continuity of grade and mining width along several quartz-arsenopyrite-gold veins present in the AJ Zone(1), the Company drilled 4 diamond core holes on the open pit target located at the Golden Wall Zone approximately 10 km northwest of the AJ Zone. Diamond hole GW-10-027 intercepted 2 m of 1.16 g/t Au at 103.5 m and diamond hole GW-10-028 intercepted 23 m of 0.65g/t Au from a depth of 10 m. Intense alteration was noted throughout all holes with three types of mineralization identified including massive to semi-massive sulphide replacement and fracture fillings in limy-oxidized breccias, sulphide disseminations in quartzite, and pyrrhotite-chlorite skarn. While the Golden Wall merits additional work the company will focus any further work on the extension and delineation of the higher grade vein systems occurring across the project area. Interval reporting criteria are the same for Antimony as those appearing below the table above for Gold Dome.

---------------------------- (1) Reported in November 5, 2009 News Release, TSX: GPD

Results from Golden Predator's Brewery Creek program will be released when they become available. Drilling is set to recommence on or about February 1, 2011 on Brewery Creek and Grew Creek.

Sampling Methodology, Quality Control and Assurance

The diamond drill holes were drilled by skid mounted drills utilizing HQ, NQ, and NTW core sizes (6.4 cm/2.5", 4.8 cm/1.87" and 5.6 cm/2.2", respectively). Core is cut or split and one half is sent to the lab for analysis and the other half retained on site.

The RC drill holes were drilled by track mounted drills that produce a 5" (12.7 cm) diameter drill hole. Samples were collected from 1/8th of the material from a 5 ft (1.5 m) interval utilizing a splitter incorporated on the cyclone.

Both the RC samples and core samples were sent to ALS Chemex's prep lab in Whitehorse and then forwarded to their ISO 9001 certified preparation facility in Terrace, B.C. The pulps were analyzed at ALS's ISO 9001 certified laboratory in Vancouver. Approximately 5% of the pulps are sent for secondary check assays at Stewart Groups Eco Tech laboratory in Kamloops, B.C. Blanks, commercial standards and duplicate samples were included in each batch. To determine Au levels at the ppb level detection limit 5-10,000 ppb (5-1000 ppb at Stewart Group)) 30 g samples are fire assayed then digested in aqua regia solution and analyzed by atomic absorption. At Eco Tech, values over 1,000 ppb are re-assayed by fire assay and then digested with aqua regia and then re-analyzed by an atomic absorption instrument (detection limit 0.03 g/t). At ALS Chemex, values over 10 g/t gold are re-assayed by fire assay followed by a gravimetric finish (50 ppb lower detection limit).

Other elements are analyzed by a 35 elements package (ME-ICP41) whereby the sample is dissolved in a aqua regia acid solution and then analyzed by ICP. Additional check-analyses are carried out by the lab which did not receive the original sample.

Drilling Sampling Protocol / Chain of Custody/Data Verification

Golden Predator employs high standards of protocol with respect to the handling and chain of custody of its samples. All sampling is conducted under the supervision of the Company's project geologist and the chain of custody from the drill to the sample preparation and logging facility is continually monitored by the project geologist. Samples are shipped to the lab by qualified couriers or Company personnel under locked bags with independent identification lock numbers. Data verification of the analytical results includes a statistical analysis of the duplicates, standards and blanks that must pass certain set parameters for acceptance to insure accurate and verifiable results. All assays are reported as drilled intervals and are not to be interpreted as true widths, which are undetermined at this time.
