Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: PAC; BMV: GAP) ("the Company" or "GAP") announced today preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for the month of November 2010 compared to traffic figures for November 2009.
During November 2010, total terminal passengers decreased 1.3% compared to the previous year; domestic passenger traffic decreased 0.9%, while international passenger traffic decreased 2.1% compared to October 2009.
Material Events for November:
Regarding the material events which took place during November, it is important to highlight that different airlines are opening routes to cover the existing demand generated by the exit of Grupo Mexicana de Aviacion, such as: Aeromexico with the Guadalajara – Ontario route and Continental with the Guanajuato – Los Angeles route. In addition, it is worth noting that Volaris began to operate the Tijuana – Los Michis route, while Alaska Airlines began to operate the Puerto Vallarta – San Diego route.
2011 Guidance
- Aeronautical Revenues: Increase between 4.5% and 5.5%
- Commercial Revenues: Increase between 5.5% and 6.5%
- Total Revenues: Increase between 5% and 6%
- Cost of Services: Increase between 7% and 9%
- EBITDA in absolute terms: Increase between 3% and 4%; with an EBITDA margin between 64% and 65% without considering the effect of NIF-17
- Cash tax: 30%
