TRX Enhances UATP Card Management Reporting Capabilities for Airlines Seeking to Lower Distribution Costs

ATLANTA, Dec. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- TRX, Inc. (http://www.trx.com/) (OTCQB: TRXI), a world-leading provider of travel technology, process automation, consulting and data services, is offering new and improved Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) card payment management and reporting capabilities to airlines using its TRX Card Management and Reporting travel technology utility.

UATP is an alternative form of payment deployed by several airlines to offer corporate customers additional choice and flexibility when purchasing airline services. While UATP offers advantages, airlines must still contend with the costly and time consuming billing and reporting processes associated with managing an independent form of payment.

To help address these challenges, TRX, in partnership with Advanced Business Solutions (ABS), formerly COA Solutions, offers airlines a card management and reporting utility to provide complete UATP card billing and reporting capabilities. The TRX Card Management and Reporting solution makes it easy for airlines to run their own payment and UATP programs through an outsourced transaction processing and business intelligence platform, providing industry-leading business intelligence and ERP integration to help reduce carriers' operating costs and credit card fees.

Recent improvements to the TRX Card Management and Reporting solution includes a full migration to TRX's hosted TRAVELTRAX® business intelligence platform to provide airlines with expanded reporting functionality, enhanced user interfaces, and improved integration with third-party systems.

"Our Card Management and Reporting solution helps airlines effectively manage their UATP card payment programs and provides significant savings in distribution costs," said Shane Hammond, President and CEO, TRX. "Leveraging our expertise in data management, we help airlines focus on growing their business rather than reporting issues that arise from managing card programs."

TRX Card Management and Reporting is one of TRX's 20 plus travel technology utilities offered as hosted software with support services for travel data analytics, data management, workflow management, as well as other functions to deliver cost savings and productivity gains. Each stand-alone and independent travel utility provides powerful and flexible functionality along with quick implementation timeframes to accelerate return on investment.

Favoritenwechsel
