SHORT HILLS, N.J., March 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Investors Bancorp, Inc. ("Company"), the holding company for Investors Savings Bank ("Bank"), announced today that its Board of Directors approved the Company's fourth share repurchase program which authorizes the repurchase of an additional 10% of the Company's outstanding shares of common stock or approximately 3.9 million shares. The new repurchase program will commence immediately upon completion of the third repurchase plan of approximately 4.3 million shares of which 785,844 remain available as of December 31, 2010. Stock purchases would be made from time to time at the direction of the Company, based on stock availability, price and the Company's financial performance.
