The Rod Lifter also prevents thread damage and eliminates pipe slippage through the use of specially designed carbide rod grip.
Split tubes and outer casing can become very sharp and often contain metal burrs, and drillers can often suffer from hand lacerations and other injuries due to these conditions, even when wearing the proper protective gloves. The Boart Longyear Split Tube Loader is designed to eliminate hand contact with these sharp, jagged edges. Designed to fit multiple split tube diameters, the Split Tube Loader fits comfortably in the hand and keeps fingers away from dangerous contact points.
