Join the Data Revolution With Tableau Software at 1st Annual European Conference / ~ data enthusiasts and business intelligence professionals invited to attend inaugural European Customer Conference ~

LONDON, March 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Following the successful launch into Europe this year, Tableau Software is hosting its first ever European Customer Conference, at Hotel Movenpick, Amsterdam on 9 - 11 May 2011. Already servicing 750+ customers throughout the European region including Oxford University, Nokia, Lafarge, Morrison Utility Service and Mindshare, the conference will bring together data experts, customers and advice gurus to share and learn about the new wave of rapid-fire business intelligence. Agenda and registration information is available at http://www.tableausoftware.com/eu-conference-2011.

The event has been tailored to assist customers already tapping into the power that Tableau Software brings, in unearthing the value savored in back catalogues of datasheets and systems. It will also unveil how the breadth of users can garner additional return on investment (ROI) from archives and new data sets that might have previously been overlooked.

Tableau fanatics, new and old will have the chance to bring the software to life in hands-on training workshops. Customers will share their advice and success stories. Early adopters of the Tableau platforms and users that want to unlock new capabilities with the powerhouse software, can visit the drop-in clinic and check in with the 'Tableau Doctor' at the conference, connecting with leading experts in the space to get advice on how to make the most of their rapid-fire business analytics.

Co-founders CEO Christian Chabot, and CDO Chris Stolte, as well as the renowned author and blogger Stephen Few, will be delivering keynote speeches, giving insight into this new wave of business intelligence and data visualization. Stanford Professor, Pixar Oscar winner and Tableau CTO Pat Hanrahan will also give a talk about "The Value of Visualization."

Chabot comments: "Our European customers tell us that the old ways of business intelligence no longer work. Data needs to be more accessible and presented in a way that's interactive and useful to audiences across the board. They have realized the value that rapid-fire business intelligence brings to an otherwise dull report, database or spreadsheet. Speed is what Tableau is all about."

"It's always fascinating to learn and see how our customers are using Tableau, from online media companies to high-end banking institutions. This event will be no exception. It also gives us a chance to thank our customers across the European market for their warm reception to Tableau. We're seeing high demand for rapid-fire business intelligence from all kinds of adopters and we never cease to be astounded with the reaction from people regarding the sheer power of Tableau."

The conference is set to be a high-energy event. It will be a central resource forum for those who use, share and manage data in any form, allowing them to collaborate on how to get the best from data without the pain and time that was previously required.

Favoritenwechsel
