View a video about MAF's 3rd annual K9 Cancer Walk-Elk Grove and visit www.K9CancerWalk.org to register.

Last year nearly 700 participants rallied to celebrate canine cancer survivors and memorialize those who have died. The successful event raised more than $61,000 for research to prevent and treat this terrible disease.

"Many people don't know that their dog can get cancer," says Mary Kern, team captain for Team Mopar and Angel Raja. "When my family was affected by canine cancer last year, it was too late to participate in the walk. So I've taken the time to learn more about Morris Animal Foundation and their campaign, and I plan to gather as much support as I can."

An estimated 50 percent of all dogs will battle cancer. It is the No. 1 cause of death in dogs over the age of 2. Sign up today and help Mary, Buddy and many other loyal dog lovers in the fight against canine cancer!

Online registration is now open. Additional information can be found at www.K9CancerWalk.org or by calling 800.243.2345.

Sponsorship and vendor opportunities are also available.

Interviews and photos are available upon request.
