SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Eye Level Holdings, LLC d/b/a JAWA, a Scottsdale company founded by Jason Hope and one of the fastest-growing companies in the Southwest, announced the following today based on legal proceedings in Federal Court in Arizona.
As a result of these actions, a Temporary Restraining Order sought by Verizon Wireless against JAWA and Eye Level Holdings was denied by the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
"JAWA argued that Verizon Wireless must not be allowed to continue to abuse its dominant market position to force out smaller competitors who provide valuable mobile content to customers. We will continue to aggressively fight for our rights to compete in the free market and look forward to resolving these matters," JAWA founder, Jason Hope said.
Mr. Hope further stated that JAWA and Eye Level Holdings have filed suit against Verizon Wireless claiming tortious interference with its contracts and business disparagement.
JAWA employs more than 240 people, all of whom live in the Scottsdale, Arizona area.
