Members can download the Express Rx app from the Apple App store or the Android Market. Other users, including those on BlackBerry devices, can access the mobile-optimized website at http://m.esrx.com.
The Express Rx app and mobile-optimized website will allow members to order refills, check order status, look up drug information, and sign up for home delivery from the Express Scripts Pharmacy. On GPS-enabled smart phones, the Express Rx app also will direct members to the closest retail pharmacy in their network.

Express Rx functions were selected through a review of the most commonly used features on the Express Scripts member portal and are optimized for use on smart phone browsers. To protect sensitive member health information, anyone accessing their account from a smart phone must be registered on the Express Scripts member website.
The company began developing the Express Rx app last year and has performed extensive testing to ensure a flawless experience for members who choose to use their smart phones to conveniently manage their prescription-drug benefits.
The Express Rx app fills a growing market need to provide members immediate access to their medications and lower pharmacy costs. It supplements the 24-hour phone and e-mail communication channels members currently use to interact with pharmacists and patient care advocates.
