The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has evaluated, recognized and approved the alignment of Walden's master's degree in Human Resource Managementwith SHRM's HR Curriculum Guidebook and Templates, which helps define human resource education standards. Additionally, students can stay current on best practices in the field and gain access to a wide network of human resource professionals through Walden's virtual student chapter of SHRM.
Walden's new Human Resource Management specialization, part of the Ph.D. in Management degree program, can provide the skills for students to develop and apply the latest theories, concepts and tools to conduct research and to teach in areas such as strategic human resource management, organizational effectiveness and human capital development.
