Beyond advocacy, the Consortium leverages and manages limited resources for maximum impact in the lives of those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
Throughout the past two decades TPAC has designed, implemented and demonstrated that Philadelphia can respond to the epidemic with interventions that are culturally competent, effective and practical to meet the growing demands for prevention education, outreach, medical care, counseling and testing services. TPAC recognizes the challenges of providing comprehensive effective services for the African American, Latino, Asian and Pacific Islanders, LGBT and other hard to reach communities who have been disproportionately devastated by HIV/AIDS.
This year, on March 26, 2011, TPAC will hold its annual fundraising Gala dinner and dancing.Please join us in our effort to raise funds to provide these much needed services to the communities in our region and to the various communities we serve around the globe. The theme for our spring gala is Erasing the Stigma for the elimination of discrimination, prejudice, negative attitudes, abuse and maltreatment directed to people living with HIV/AIDS.
In addition to a full and entertaining program, highlights of the evening will include a silent auction with outstanding items such as: fine art from several of Pennsylvania's most renowned artists, dinner at several of Philadelphia's most popular restaurants, memorabilia from the Eagles and boxed seat tickets for an upcoming Phillies game. Our main raffle drawing will be a trip for two, including airfare with a weekend stay at the Loews Don CeSar, in Tampa/St. Petersburg, Florida.
