LenderLive Network Inc., an end-to-end mortgage service provider, announced today the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) has selected Erik Anderson, a national accounts manager at LenderLive Network, to participate in the Future Leaders Class of 2011. Anderson is one of 18 individuals selected to participate in this year's program.
Initiated in 1996, MBA's Future Leaders Program is an executive leadership development program that delivers a comprehensive curriculum for selected middle and senior level executives who have shown leadership interests and abilities. Participants for this prestigious recognition are selected based upon their professional and academic achievements and the recommendations of their company president or chief executive officer.
"In an industry that is constantly changing and redefining itself, it is important to give talented people like Erik who have committed to being a part of it the opportunity to learn as much as they can," said Rick Seehausen, CEO of LenderLive. "He can then share his knowledge to help LenderLive continue to be a leader in providing mortgage services."
Anderson joined LenderLive in 2009 and was selected to participate in the MBA Future Leaders Program because of his combined work experience, efforts with the Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association, strong work ethic and his continued desire to offer improvements to the current market and future of the industry.
"Since its inception, the Future Leaders Program has delivered a top-notch curriculum of leadership and business management to the mortgage banking industry's most promising professionals," said John A. Courson, MBA's president and CEO.
Program participants enhance their skills through three hands-on sessions geared toward political activism; business analysis and problem solving; and experiential learning through collaboration, networking and peer group interaction. Each class joins a national network of more than 400 real estate finance professionals who have been recognized by the industry as its next generation of leaders. The first session for the Class of 2011 will take place March 29-31 in conjunction with MBA's National Policy Conference and will include meetings on Capitol Hill. This session will focus on leadership development and the federal legislative process. Session II will take place this summer. The class will graduate during MBA's 98th Annual Convention & Expo in Chicago in October.
