Tony Kender Named as IntraLinks Executive Vice President, Global Sales / Kender Brings 30 Years of Enterprise Software Sales Experience

NEW YORK, March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- IntraLinks Holdings, Inc. , a leading provider of critical information exchange solutions, today announced the appointment of Tony Kender as executive vice president, global sales. Kender will be responsible for the key initiatives, direction and strategy of the IntraLinks global sales team. Kender has 30 years of experience in the software and information services industries in direct sales and management positions, selling to large Enterprise and small and medium-sized businesses (SMB).

"Tony's strong global experience in Enterprise sales is particularly valuable as we continue to put a strong focus on selling into the Enterprise, the largest and fastest growing part of our business. Kender has held several prominent leadership positions with large technology companies, most recently SAP America where he was national vice president, edge product sales. Previously, Kender spent 10 years with Oracle where his positions included senior vice president, SMB global business unit, and senior vice president, applications global sales strategy. During his time at Oracle, Kender was responsible for managing sales, channel partner, marketing and sales enablement employees across the globe.

Before joining Oracle, Kender had his first spell at SAP America. Other companies that Kender has worked at include Knowledgesoft and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). Kender graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1981 with a B.S. in marketing.
