The movie tells the story of the trial of Mary Surratt who was accused of being part of a conspiracy in the Lincoln assassination. A major theatrical release is planned for April 15, 2011, the 146th anniversary of the assassination of President Lincoln.The film is financed by the American Film Co., controlled by the Ricketts family, which owns the Chicago Cubs.
