CVR Energy Amends Offer to Purchase Up to $100 Million Principal Amount of First Lien Senior Secured Notes and Second Lien Senior Secured Notes

SUGAR LAND, Texas, April 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- CVR Energy, Inc. (NYSE: CVI) has announced today that in connection with its previously announced offer to purchase up to $100 million aggregate principal amount of the 9% First Lien Senior Secured Notes due 2015 (the "First Lien Notes") and the 10 7/8% Second Lien Senior Secured Notes due 2017 (the "Second Lien Notes" and, together with the First Lien Notes, the "Notes") issued by its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Coffeyville Resources, LLC and Coffeyville Finance Inc. (the "Issuers"), the Issuers have revised the terms of the offer so that they will be accepting Notes only in denominations of $2,000 and integral multiples of $1,000 thereof. All the other terms and conditions set forth in the offer to purchase dated April 14, 2011 remain in effect. The offer previously stated that the Issuers would accept tenders in denominations of $1,000 and integral multiples of $1,000 thereof.
