State-of-the-art exhibit open to visitors through Sunday, June 12th
NEW YORK, June 3, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Mayor Michael Nutter and Philadelphia Superintendent Arlene Ackerman will join Philadelphia students and representatives from NBC News, NBC 10 and Telemundo at the official opening of the "Education Nation Experience" on Monday, June 6th at 9:15 am/et. NBC 10's Aditi Roy will kick off the event and David L. Cohen, EVP of Comcast, will provide opening remarks and introduce the other event participants.
The "Education Nation Experience" installation on the lawn of the National Constitution Center will be open to the public and school groups all week, through Sunday, June 12th. The state-of-the-art exhibit is designed to engage school groups and the broader community by using video and interactive tools to explore the skills, knowledge and training required to succeed in the 21st Century. The "Experience" will be open Monday-Sunday (hours of operation are Monday: 10am-6pm, Tuesday- Friday: 8:30am-6pm, Saturday: 8am-5pm, and Sunday: 10am-5pm).
