Peter W. Zinober, a shareholder in Greenberg Traurig's Tampa office, has been elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
ABOTA's membership consists of trial lawyers representing equally the plaintiff and defense bars, as well as judges. Founded in 1958, the organization's primary goal is the preservation of the civil jury right guaranteed by the Constitution. The organization also seeks to foster improvements in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy. Members must have at least five years of active experience as trial lawyers, and a history of trying at least ten civil jury trials to conclusion.
Zinober is a member of Greenberg Traurig's Labor and Employment practice in Tampa. He serves as co-chair of the firm's Global Labor & Employment practice, and co-chair of the firm's Global Human Capital Solutions Practice. He is a fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and was inducted as a fellow of The College of Labor and Employment Lawyers. He is chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
