Ingredients |
1/2 cup warm water (100° to 110°F) |
2 envelopes Fleischmann's® Active Dry Yeast |
2-1/2 cups whole wheat flour |
1/4 cup sugar |
1-1/2 teaspoons salt |
3/4 cup warm milk (100° to 110°F) |
3 tablespoons butter OR margarine, softened |
2 eggs |
1-3/4 to 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour |

Directions
Place warm water in large mixer bowl. Sprinkle in yeast; stir until dissolved and let rest 5 minutes. Add whole wheat flour, sugar, salt, milk, butter and eggs; beat 2 minutes. Stir in enough remaining all-purpose flour to make soft dough. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4 to 6 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease top. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 30 to 45 minutes.
Punch dough down. Remove dough to lightly floured surface; divide into 12 equal pieces. Form each piece into smooth ball. Place on 2 large greased baking sheets. Flatten balls to 3 to 4-inch rounds; cover. Let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 30 to 40 minutes.
Bake at 400°F for 13 to 17 minutes or until done. Remove from baking sheet; let cool on wire rack.
Optional toppings: Before placing rolls in oven, brush with a mixture of 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water. Sprinkle with Spice Islands® Sesame Seeds, Poppy Seeds or Minced Onions. These buns are prefect to pair with our Smokin' Gourmet Burger!

1-1/2 pounds ground beef |
1 tablespoon Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning |
4 slices smoked Gouda cheese |
8 slices cooked bacon |
4 hamburger buns |

Gently shape into 5-inch burgers. Season burgers on both sides with Weber Gourmet Burger Seasoning.
Grill over direct medium heat (350° to 450°F) with the lid closed as much as possible, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium, 12 to 15 minutes, turning once.
Top burgers with cheese and cook additional minute to melt cheese. Serve on hamburger buns, topping each burger with 2 strips of bacon.

5-1/2 to 6-1/2 cups all-purpose flour |
2 envelopes Fleischmann's® RapidRise Yeast |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1-1/2 teaspoons salt |
2 cups very warm water (120° to 130°F) |
2 tablespoon butter OR margarine, softened |
1-1/2 cups (6 ounces) shredded sharp Cheddar Cheese |
1/4 cup finely chopped onion |

Directions
Mix 2 cups flour, undissolved yeast, sugar and salt in a large mixer bowl. Add very warm water and butter to dry ingredients; beat 2 minutes at medium speed with electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Add 1 cup flour, or enough flour to make a thick batter. Beat at high speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in cheese, onion and enough additional flour to make a soft dough. Turn out onto lightly floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 20 equal pieces. Form each piece into a smooth ball and place on greased baking sheets. Flatten balls to 3 to 4-inch rounds; cover. Let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
Bake at 400°F 15 to 20 minutes or until done. Remove from baking sheets and cool on wire racks.
Optional Toppings: Whisk 1 egg with 1 tablespoon water. Brush on rolls just before they are ready to go into the oven. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese. These buns are prefect to pair with a gourmet burger with mushrooms!

Gently shape into 5-inch burgers. Season burgers on both sides with Weber Gourmet Burger Seasoning.
Grill over direct medium heat (350° to 450°F) with the lid closed as much as possible, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium, 12 to 15 minutes, turning once.
Heat oil in a large skillet; add mushrooms and 1 teaspoon seasoning. Cook until mushrooms are tender, about 5 minutes.
Serve on hamburger buns, topping each burger with an equal amount of mushrooms.
