WHAT: | Kraft Foods is bringing the fight against hunger to its own backyard with an 8,000-square-foot sustainable fruit and vegetable garden at its Northfield, Ill. headquarters. The Kraft Foods Garden, a collaboration with the Chicago Botanic Garden, will be unveiled Monday by executives in front of employees, members of the community and many of the company's nonprofit partners. The garden will produce an estimated 14,000 pounds of organically-grown fruits and vegetables annually - the equivalent of 28,000 meals for those struggling with hunger in Illinois.
