Attorney General Eric Holder, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chair Jacqueline Berrien to participate
WASHINGTON - Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis will host a discussion Tuesday, June 21, on creating employment strategies to help formerly incarcerated individuals transition into the workforce. Attorney General Eric Holder and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chair Jacqueline Berrien will join the conversation, along with academics, practitioners and representatives from other government agencies and businesses. The discussion will center on the journey from justice facilities to the workplace, examine barriers and highlight best practices to equip youth and adults with the skills necessary to obtain stable employment.
