Hamilton Sundstrand Customer Response Center Makes Impact, Provides 24/7 Support to Customers

PARIS, June 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- PARIS AIR SHOW -- Since opening its doors just over six months ago at its Windsor Locks, Conn. headquarters, Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation's Customer Response Center has received over 3,500 inquiries from more than 700 unique customers. The average turnaround time for technical inquiries is five days with a 99 percent customer service level for aircraft on ground (AOG) support. Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corporation (NYSE: UTX).

The Customer Response Center is staffed by engineers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to address technical issues and spare part orders and keep aircraft flying. Connecting airlines with Hamilton Sundstrand's aftermarket team, the Customer Response Center features sophisticated software to manage customer inquiries from a single data collection point, enabling Hamilton Sundstrand businesses to coordinate and quickly resolve issues.
