LOS GATOS, Calif. and LIVERMORE, Calif., July 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The United States will be sending its National Championship team to compete in the World Bocce Championships in Feltre, Italy this coming September 4-11.
The 2011 National Bocce Championships, held at Los Gatos, California and Livermore California's Campo di Bocce June 25th through July 2nd, qualified five of the top players in the US to represent America in the 2011 World Bocce Championships.
The US Volo team will include, Jorge Moreno - Newark, New Jersey, Benji Tosi - Oakland, California and Benjamin Musolf - Los Gatos, California. Luca Fontana - Stockton, California and John Dine - Antioch, California will be alternates.
Defending, and now current National Champion Men's Raffa Team, Palazzo di Bocce, Lake Orion, Michigan, will be representing the United States at Campo di Bocce of Livermore, California in the 2012 World Bocce Championships.
