ANN ARBOR, Mich., July 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Zhenhua Huang has been promoted to vice president of Asia Automotive operations at Coherix.

Dr. Huang retains his responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer of Coherix's Asia Automotive Business. Dr. Huang also continues to be actively involved in several research efforts for the Precision, Engineering & Manufacturing Alliance (PEMA) and has developed several cutting-edge holographic interferometry measurement algorithms such as 3D high-definition disk thickness variation measurement and hologram stitching. Dr. Huang holds one US patent for Methods of Combining Holograms.

Dr. Huang holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. and wrote his dissertation on Three-Dimensional Laser Holographic Interferometry Measurements.
He has authored numerous publications and has received several awards for his work in science, manufacturing and mechanical engineering.
Dr. Huang is a native of China and he lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
