Cooper Industries to Participate in the Jefferies 2011 Global Industrial and A&D Conference

DUBLIN, Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Cooper Industries plc (NYSE:CBE) today announced it will participate in the Jefferies 2011 Global Industrial and A&D Conference held in New York City on Tuesday, August 9.

The presentation and comments by Cooper's Chief Financial Officer David Barta will begin at approximately 1:30 p.m. eastern time.

A live audio webcast of the presentation will be available over the Internet through the Company's website, www.cooperindustries.com.
