Profile America - Saturday, August 6th. It seems that just about everything has a day set aside to celebrate it and today is no different - it's National Mustard Day. It's an especially big day in Middleton, Wisconsin, home of the National Mustard Museum. Visitors will see the world's largest collection of mustards and mustard memorabilia. Special exhibits outline the history of the condiment, thought to have been first prepared by the Romans. There are many different kinds of mustard, some with proven medicinal properties. In the U.S., yellow mustard - introduced by George French in 1904 - is the most popular. It's almost universal, served on the millions of hot dogs and hamburgers grilled by more than 1-out-of-3 U.S. households during the summer.
