Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA, Inc. – part of Wells Fargo & Company - has named Thomas Hayden senior vice president and Midwest healthcare practice leader. Hayden will coordinate brokerage team efforts in delivering product knowledge and risk management consultation to the Midwest's leading healthcare providers. He will identify emerging risks for healthcare providers and work closely with Wells Fargo's commercial banking customers to review their risk management needs.
"With over 20-years of experience in the healthcare industry, Tom has the expertise to develop and lead this group for Wells Fargo Insurance Services," said Dan Goldapp, executive vice president and Midwest regional managing director. "With this new specialty practice, Wells Fargo will be able to provide our customers in the Midwest with the healthcare insurance products and services they need."
Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Hayden held various roles at Marsh & McLennan, including property casualty practice leader in Cincinnati and manager of their Columbus office. Most recently, Hayden served as Marsh's East partnership healthcare industry leader. During his career, he has developed six captive insurance companies for U.S. healthcare organizations and is a frequent speaker on risk issues facing healthcare providers. Hayden graduated with a bachelor's degree in international relations/economics from Colgate University. He holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
