Media Advisory: Chevrolet Table of Brotherhood Tour Arrives in Washington, D.C.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Chevrolet "Table of Brotherhood" four-city tour culminates in the nation's capital this week with the Aug. 28 dedication of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial. The memorial pays tribute to Dr. King's legacy, and reminds future generations of his timeless message.

Chevrolet and the General Motors Foundation are helping raise awareness of the memorial through the "Table of Brotherhood Tour," which so far has stopped in Atlanta, Chicago and Memphis. The final tour stop will consist of organized conversations about issues as relevant and poignant today as they were when King spoke about them decades ago, and will be moderated by CNN Analyst Roland Martin.

The discussion will cover the following topics:

The Future of Education * Realizing the Dream: Freedom, Racism and Progress *
The Future of our Youth * Civil Rights Progress: A Look Back/A Look Forward

The event is free and the public is welcome to attend and witness the discussion.

If interested in an interview, please contact Nina Price by 5 p.m. EDT, on Wednesday, Aug. 24. Interviews are being scheduled in 15-minute intervals between noon and 1:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel.
