LOS ANGELES, Aug. 24, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Transom Consulting Group announced today the addition of two new partners, Thomas Yang and Daniel Pehle.
Thomas Yang will lead the firm's growing Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice. He most recently served as the vice president of corporate development and strategy at Fox Mobile Group (FMG), where he headed the company's strategy group and drove initiatives transitioning FMG's business model to next generation mobile content. Prior to that, he was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, and one of the leaders of McKinsey's West Coast TMT practice.
Daniel Pehle joined Transom's financial services practice to grow the firm's banking advisory business. He has consulted over 50 financial institutions internationally across a wide range of subsectors and functional areas. Daniel's most recent work focused on performance benchmarking of community, regional, and super-regional banks. He has several publications, including a book on strategic positioning in credit banking. Prior to joining Transom, Daniel was a Senior Manager and member of the financial services leadership team at Bain & Company.
