ExaGrid today announced that channel partner Radiant Resources' president Jennifer Naughton has been recognized as one of the Women of the Channel for 2011 by CRNMagazine. The Women of the Channel list recognizes female executives for their accomplishments over the past year, based on their achievements as executives and the amount of influence they wield over the technology channel. This year's Women of the Channel were chosen by the editors of CRN from a field of vendor channel organizations, distributors and solution providers.
"Jennifer Naughton's recognition as one of CRN's Women of the Channel is a great representation of the channel partners we align our business with," said Bill Hobbib, Vice President of Marketing at ExaGrid Systems. "We're constantly building and improving our channel program, and we're very excited that Jennifer, who we've worked with for many years, has been named to this list."
As a woman-owned organization, Radiant Resources is a leading provider of dataprotection solutions. As President of Radiant, Jennifer aspires to increase revenue and profitability, plus expand Radiant's position as a regional expert and strengthen alliances with the key partners that can help build its expertise. Under Jennifer's leadership, Radiant was recently certified as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, allowing the company to help corporate and government buyers achieve diversity goals with their IT procurement. In addition to her work in the data management field, Jennifer has also served as the mayor of Spring Lake, NJ since 2006.
In the past year, Naughton has taken stock of partners and moved to strengthen alliances with organizations that contribute to the company's success. Working with ExaGrid allows Radiant to reach a base of customers who are looking to add leading disk backup solutions to their IT departments, as ExaGrid's 1,000 customers can attest to. More than ever, Naughton believes that the industry can benefit from capable, robust regional solution providers.
"The annual Women of the Channel list recognizes the channel's most influential women based on their overall achievements, and their influence in the technology industry," said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director of Everything Channel.
