U.S. Senate candidate State Rep. Tom Conroy (D) finished his 600+ mile "Town to Town Walk" across Massachusetts today with the walk ending at the Boston Common.

"By walking through numerous cities and towns, holding hundreds of meetings and talking with citizens, local leaders, activists, businesses and families, I was able to truly learn more about the challenges that the people of Massachusetts face these days, " said Conroy. "I want to be the voice of the people in the U.S. Senate and this walk helped me hear loud and clear what we need to do to strengthen the economy and better serve the people of Massachusetts."
During his two-month walk, Conroy went to all corners of the State. Some activities from the walk included:
- helped clean up after the devastating tornado in Monson, Mass;
- in Lynn, Mass. served lunch to clients at My Brother's Table food pantry;
- talked with seniors in Worcester, Mass. about healthcare took part in a park beautification project in Fall River, Mass.;
- met with community leaders on Cape Cod to discuss clean water.
