SAN BERNARDINO, Calif., Sept. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- All 167 Stater Bros. Supermarkets will hold a "Moment of Silence" at exactly 9:11 a.m. on Sunday, September 11. At every Stater Bros. Supermarket, the Store Manager will make an announcement asking all the customers and employees who are inside the supermarket at that time to pause for 60 seconds to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on America. The same memorial ceremony will be held at the Company's Distribution Center and Corporate Offices for all employees who are working during that time.

Supermarket will receive 2,000 tribute posters (8 1/2" x 11" size) to hand out to customers and employees. All Southern Californians are encouraged to post this tribute in their homes, at their workplace, or wherever they feel a need to pay tribute to the victims and their families.
