Saunders, CPA has been appointed as a Board Member Emeritus at Interval House, an organization dedicated to providing services to prevent and break the cycle of family and intimate partner abuse.
Saunders' involvement with Interval House began in 1999; she has since held a variety of roles in the organization including treasurer, member at large, and president. This most recent honor, Board Member Emeritus, is given to Board Members who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to the organization. Saunders will continue to serve on the Finance Committee at Interval House.

Since 1977, Interval House has provided a safe place to live and made a positive difference in the lives of nearly 150,000 women and children who have experienced psychological and physical abuse. Interval House offers women and children guidance and the tools to utilize other community resources and empower themselves. Through Interval House's specialized services for children, it is less likely children will continue the pattern of domestic violence.
