Puget Sound Energy recently doubled its rebate on ENERGY STAR®-qualified heat pump water heaters from $250 to $500. To celebrate, GE is offering PSE residential electric customers the chance to enter to win by Oct. 5 an ENERGY STAR-qualified GeoSpring heat pump water heater from GE valued at $1,399.
"Heat pump water heaters are twice as efficient as standard electric models," said Dennis Rominger, Energy Efficiency Services program manager. "The expected energy savings combined with PSE's rebate, manufacturer discounts and tax credits can pay for a new more energy-efficient water heater within a year."
To enter the contest, customers should text "hotwater" to 90210. After entering, a confirmation text will be sent; follow the link to complete the entry form. For contest rules, visit PSE.com/contest; customers must enter before Oct. 5 at 11:59 p.m.
