Dr. Sanjay Prasad, founder, noted that "the website continues our mission of providing the ultimate in patient care by educating our patients about their disorder so that they can make the best decisions regarding their care." The content-rich, interactive website includes more than 40 original high-definition videos and 80 custom medical illustrations about specific auditory maladies and treatments, from Otitis Externa, or "Swimmer's Ear," to serious conditions such as Cholesteatoma and acoustic neuroma. In addition, preliminary diagnostic tools are online, including a "Second Opinion Service" and, soon, a Patient Portal for uploading CT and MRI images. The site features in-depth explanations of the latest hearing aids and cochlear implants in a section entitled "Physicians Audiology Center," as well as definitive information and treatment programs for vestibular disorders, such as dizziness and vertigo, and tinnitus.
